♥ Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® Wednesday Challenge Blog Hop! ♥

Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® Wednesday Challenge Group Blog Hop!

Simon Says Stamp was founded in 2002 with an interest in exclusively selling rubber stamps. It didn't take long until we realized we couldn't stop there. During the past 11 years we celebrate rubber stamping in its full glory by giving access to people around the world to a one stop shop. Rubber stamps still remain the heart of our business and we are celebrating by hosting a “STAMPtember®” event intended to inspire, educate, and celebrate the greatness of rubber stamping. Part of the enticement of rubber stamping is that stamps can be used in creating or complimenting ANYTHING! From stamping dates on bank documents and postage parcels in the early 18th century, rubber stamping has dramatically expanded to include card making, life documenting, art journaling, scrapbooking, mixed media and many forms of altering and expressing art.

To celebrate the 4th annual Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® event, we're 'hopping' along sharing some great projects featuring the new STAMPtember® product releases! It's one of the biggest releases to date and features new stamp sets, dies, flair and stencils!!

All of the new releases are amazing!! I have had the pleasure of working so far with quite a few of them and can not even tell you a favorite! I love them ALL!! But I must say that I think the Sketchy Banners Dies and Stamp Set are really fun!! (You can see a card made with them below.)

We're so excited that you are here to celebrate with us and hop along in this special challenge group blog hop. Once you're done 'hopping' please head over to our Wednesday Challenge Blog to participate in this weeks challenge. This week the challenge is...

Celebrate  STAMPtember® and use a product from the Simon Says Stamp Store.

As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store!

On my first card for you today, I used the Sketchy Banners Stamp and Die Set. Love this fun set! (Have I mentioned that already!) And I also used these very cool, Pointed Feathers Dies! That is the "in" thing to use right now, feathers!!

The papers are from the Summer Stories 6x6 Paper Pad by Teresa Collins. I also used a paper doily, White Opal Liquid Pearls and lots of pretty Prima flowers!

On my next card, I used the super cute Darling Baby Stamps and Die Set. You can make a lot of things with this stamp set! Invitations, Announcements, card for the new baby, Shower cards, etc. Such a versatile set. And that Baby die is so sweet too!

I used some Lost and Found, Ruby papers by My Mind's Eye on this one.

Lastly, this card also uses the Darling Baby Stamps and Die Set. That cute airplane is from the Small Planes Die Set. It comes with a large one and a smaller one.

The papers are from an old My Mind's Eye paper Pad called Cowboy. The crystal heart is by Prima.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog on the hop! I am the last person on the hop! So Good Luck to you all and I hope you had fun "hopping" along with us!!

The hop begins at the newly designed Simon Says Stamp blog, so if you encounter any broken links while 'hopping' you can head back there for a full list of participants. The Simon blog has a new address and a new look, with all the great inspiration you've come to love and expect from Simon Says Stamp! :)

Happy Hopping!! ;-)

♥ Simon Says...Emboss it! ♥

Our enemies have made the mistake that America’s enemies always make. They saw liberty and thought they saw weakness. And now, they see defeat. --George W. Bush, President of the United States.

♥ Never forget 9-11-01 ♥

Happy Wednesday everyone!! It's time for another challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog!

This week we want to see embossing! It can be heat or dry embossing. So break out those embossing folders or your favorite embossing powders!!

This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing Cuttlebug/Provocraft and Sizzix products. I chose this beautiful embossing folder by Cuttlebug and designed by Anna Griffin called Rosa. Love the beautiful roses, leaves and vines that run through it. After embossing it onto my circle die cuts, I simply brushed on some light pastel chalks over the embossed images. It actually looks like a beautiful piece of fabric irl. So pretty!! I can see myself using this folder a lot!!

I also used a stamp set by Ali Edwards called Favorite Memories (the large sentiment) and also a stamp set by Avery Elle called Petals and Stems. The patterned paper that I used for the base of the card is by Magnolia Ink called Vintage Pink. And finally, I also used the Chrissy and Leanna Butterfly Dies exclusively by Simon Says as well as the Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles Die Set.

And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!

And last but certainly not least, it is STAMPtember® here at Simon Says Stamp!! So make sure you visit the Simon Says Stamp Blog for daily Giveaways, Special guests, blog hops and lot's of prizes to be won!!

Have a fun filled day!

Is a turtle an animal? I guess so! In my book it is, anyway! ;) This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing products by either Lawn Fawn or The Craft's Meow! I chose this cute set by Lawn Fawn called "On the Mend". I think that turtle is so cute, don't you? I colored him in with both a Copic Marker, Marine Green and a Tim Holtz Distress Marker, Bundled Sage. LOVE those Distress Markers!! I want every color!!

I also used the 8x8 Farm Girl Paper Pad by October Afternoon, some seam binding, Liquid Pearls and the Scalloped Circles Large Dies and the Standard Circle Large Dies by Spellbinders.

And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!
